Who we are
Dream Websites is a Sydney-based web design and development studio serving businesses across Australia. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Dream Websites, and “the site” means dreamwebsites.com.au.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us. When you book a strategy call, submit an enquiry, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name and whatever you tell us about your project.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, analytics and advertising tools collect technical and behavioural data such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, time on page and the site or search that referred you.
Analytics and advertising
This site loads Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on every page. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and send data to Google and Meta respectively.
Google Analytics tells us how people find and move through the site so we can improve it. The Meta Pixel measures the performance of advertising and can be used to show you ads on Meta platforms. These are third-party services, and the data they collect is also governed by their own privacy policies — Google and Meta.
You can block these through your browser settings, by clearing or refusing cookies, or with a browser extension that blocks trackers. Blocking them does not stop you using the site.
Booking and enquiries
Our strategy call bookings are handled through a booking widget hosted on crm.zariai.com.au, which runs on GoHighLevel. When you book a call, the details you enter are stored in that customer relationship management system so we can contact you and manage the enquiry.
We use those details to respond to you, prepare for the call and follow up. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate — website hosting, the CRM and booking platform, analytics and advertising platforms, and email providers. Some of these process or store data overseas.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and tax obligations, then delete it or de-identify it. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in the platforms described above.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing communication at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
